So yesterday was my husband and I's 7th year anniversary and didn't really get to celebrate. I wanted to make him dinner but since he had to work later, he asked to have dinner today. He's a big health freak and pasta is like a big treat for him, so that's what I made. Just thought I would share the recipe! =)
INGREDIENTS:
1 Green Bell Pepper
1 Red Bell Pepper
4 Cloves Garlic
1 Jalapeno
1/4 Onion
1 1/2 cups Mushrooms
2 cups Spinach
1 can of Tomato Sauce
1 package Hillshire sausage
Salt
Pepper
1lb Farfalle Pasta
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
-Boil water with 1 Tbsp of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of Salt
-Add Pasta to water and cook for 12 Minutes
-Drain pasta when cooked and set aside
-Puree Bell Peppers, Garlic, and JalapeƱo with 1 ounce of water
-Chop and Sautee onions in a large pan
-Add mushrooms and sausage until cooked
-Pour Puree and tomato sauce in pan and stir for a few minutes
-Add cooked pasta and spinach
-Add salt and pepper to taste
-Let it cook for a few minutes
Just a Warning....This is a Family Size Serving! (Hubby eats 6 times a day)
